Believe me! It took so long for me to get it, acknowledge it and to accept and engulf this hard fact dat I cannot be an all-good person everytime and for everyone.
You cannot live being only a good man or a bad one. Its just like, your good deeds for one proves to be bad for others. Besides whats in doing good everytime(even if its a case possible). Its a relative term, just like hot and too hot. Your good deeds will be compared then.You cannot run from being (labelled) bad. As the world cannot stood by the positive energy only, an anti-positive energy(yes i know the non-existence of the term 'anti-positive' but jst to ensure d relativity btwn the terms) is much needed everytime to counter balance it.
Have you ever thought of God's existence if there wudn't be any devil(or call it a concept of devil), or the Law and order if no anarchy wud be thr. Would you ever go to the temple or follows god's preachings or ever follow discipline thn. No...the straight answer is 'No'. People hate dark, they afraid of it but imagine, is it really possible to live in an all-day-and-no-night world. Impossible!!
Off course, good and bad are not two faces of a coin but are more like a holographic image, what you see wud never be same for the other person till he wont be on your shoes. The concept of Utopia is not just idealistic but dreadful too. You can't live in a world where there is no bad coz thn there wudn't be any gud too, tell me how you can love anyone without hating others (somebody just said its possible!! oh pls stop being hypocrite. I am so sick of it). Accept this, you cannot take the burdon of an angel at your right shoulder till you don't have the devil at other side.Its just a peice of balancing act tht perhaps god is playing with all of us!!

Gud to know that at last you came out of your vices of diplomacy and realized you can not be all-good to everyone.
And if talk about the relative good, than why hot and too hot , it can be cold also for someone. Who gets to make a final call on what's gud or what's bad or for that matter correct. It is just a myth engulfing us all, where we believe in what everyone else prior to us believed and we try convincing everyone around us to believe in what we believe, when we ourselves know that it is just a belief.

Diplomacy as you said is not a vice. Its like politics, is so unfortunate to gt its share of applause n is one of d most misunderstood trait.Well diplomacy tells u an art of saying no without hurting anyone.And i feels dat neither saying no or nor 'not hurting anyone' is bad. so see it all on you hw you tk it.
yes i am completely agreed to your cold n too cold stuff bt i am not here to write a novel displaying all examples related to dis.i thought it ws understood.
n last, i fully support your views on 'belief' n i put it in the form of example in last para(holographic image).hope dat u hd seen it.

i wouldnt say i agree with it wholly, but all in all we are all taking efforts to balance, we arent all really well balnced, otherwise
there wouldnt be any of true evils,
because there are some evils that are plain faced ie "evil to all"
you dont need to step into my shoes to know a murderer needs to be hanged.

i am sumhw agreed wid your point abt the plain evil...but as u said its nt exactly d balancin act i am talkin abt..also u talkd abt d murderer bt i still fl dat thr is no clear definition of murderer... our solders might be saviours n our national heros for us bt thy r d cruel murderers fr those whose families thy trashd...
balancin act is for those who r sane enough to rationally think bt not for d one who r mently deseased(Beleive me i am nt adament, i m jst puttin my point).
